And when Flickr fixes that error, the slideshows created via the share-button should start work again. It has nothing to do with Flash, it is an error which must have occurred only recently. However also Flickr's current slideshow feature fails today. As mention above, use the Share-button in album-headers and copy the embed-code.
To be clear, Flickr DOES offer slideshows that works without Flash.
